Narrator: A Grasshopper lived in a field near a big forest. He liked to sing and dance very much. And he sang and danced all day long.

When winter came and there was a lot of snow, the Grasshopper had nothing to eat. He was very hungry, so he went to visit the Ant and asked for some food.

The Ant: “I’m collecting food for winter,” said the Ant.

“I worked all summer to collect my food,” said the Ant. “What did you do?”

“Well, if you sing and dance all summer and do not work, then you must starve in winter,” answered the Ant.

The Grasshopper: “Why are you working on such a lovely day?” asked the Grasshopper.

“I was very busy singing and dancing,” answered the Grasshopper.
